   Board of Directors
According to its bylaws, ORA is served by a board of 9 - 15 directors. Board members must reside in, work in or have a vested interest in one of the 16 counties ORA serves, and must be a current ORA member. Board members are elected by ORA members at an annual meeting held in December and serve three-year terms.

Board News
The board has approved revised bylaws after an open period in which ORA general members were invited to make comments.

The board has approved moving to a more formal "membership" process. Agency memberships ($20 a year) allow any employee of the agency to attend meetings, vote and be eligible to serve on the board. In addition, the agency may request a complimentary listing on ORA's website and submit content to the group via the ORA listserve. Individuals can also join ORA for only $10 a year to be added to the listserve, receive voting priveleges and be eligible to serve on the board. Fill out an application and return it following the instructions on the bottom of the page to become an official member of ORA and support its mission in southwest Missouri.

ORA board applications will be accepted January 1st through November 1st annually. Board elections will be held at the regular ORA general meeting in December of each year.
