News The National Collaboration for Youth releases a guide that offers information on the immigrant youth experience and practical tips for hiring, developing and retaining staff to work with this population. The guide draws from hands-on experiences by national and local youth organizations who are already working effectively with this audience. More information The American Diabetes Association (ADA) announces that Goya Foods, Inc. has signed on as a Program Sponsor to support ADA's Latino outreach program, Por Tu Familia (or "for your family"). This ADA community-based outreach campaign provides Hispanics/Latinos with information about the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Goya will support the ADA by using its channels for information distribution and by developing a new "Latino Recipe of the Week," featuring healthy recipe options that cater to the Latino cuisine.
